I can only pray that L's and Light's voice actors do their original cast justice. *sooo good in japanese, sooo good*
But I stare at the sky and the television.

 So starting tomorrow I'll be gone till Wednesday night on a school retreat. It'll be nice, except that I'll have to have just about all my work for all of my classes done for tomorrow. O__o... -_-'... But in the end, me and my bffs going to obscure places in the remotest regions of STATEN ISLAND *haha* is gonna be amusing, I think.

Ugh, off to pack suitcase I go. Hope I don't go overboard again. *sfx:woosh*

So today it has come at last, my moment of true judgment: revision of edits.

 The delightful editorial staff of the company publishing my book has at last shipped me back my sliced and diced story to look over final revisions...
 O___o.... 
i have never seen so much colorful text in my life.

 Everything is color coordinated, red=remove, blue is my corrections, suggested omitions in gray highlights, turqoise for instructions, etc, etc. So yeah; I am definetely going to lose my mind. 

And another slightly irksome realization-- that any writer type person will be familiar with ---is the wonderful "OH, LOOK AT WHAT I WROTE THREE YEARS AGO-- GAH!" feeling, since I wrote this when I was a stupid freshman and my writing has certainly grown. The story is still very cute i think but the writing doesn't cut it for me anymore. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO ALLEVIATE THIS PROBLEM and not prolong this publication another year ;;. 

And the third fun fun problem is the "conservative distributors" that my dear publishers claim to be hacking all even remotely "inappropriate" words from my story for! 

If any one knows a decent substitute for the word DAMN, I need it. STAT.

I mean, 'damn' just so happens to be a word that most New Yorkers breath, what am I supposed to do?!
I"M JUST THE WRITER!!

So... as meager as my use of profanity is, its gotta go. ;;!

Ah, back again!
I haven't been here for so long I was wondering if I wouldn't return to find myself excommunicated and everyone transformed from the way they were before. 
I am happy to say that none of you people have really changed whatsoever! :/
Been doing lots of writing- writing- writing-
There was some drawing but as usual not enough to satisfy me
Oh yes, and a lot of manga (because when I fail to finish one with conviction, I don't mope, oh no! I start another one!)
And my one success, from my trip to Toronto, its my new chara-!!


Calico, i.e. Kika is the cute, bratty, spoiled [Canadian] prince of my newest [Canadian] endeavor which will have something to do with [Canadian] pirates because he is clearly wearing a shirt that is Canadian. I drew about twenty five-second sketches of him on the drive to Toronto, and a bunch more while in Toronto and it reached a point where he was sort of doing all the tourist-esque things I was doing (Caribana-parade watching, ice-cream eating, bus taking, sitting in a park, karaoke, etc) I wanted a model to try different poses on, and he conveniently worked for both genders.  
Also, I heard someone refer to my stuff as, "oh,  you do that Japanimation thing, right?" this sentence and the word Japanimation are my newest amusements.

Just reminding myself that I still have this journal @_@. Finally done with my goddamn final exams! Yes my school does set records for keeping us prisoner longer than any school in the friggin tri-state area! UGH! 
Now then, off to do something productive! XD * she's so goin back to sleep...*

I'm quite tired right now. And stressed. Oh so very stressed. I have two midterms in- two days, seperated by half an hour. And of course, its Math B Adv and US History because any other two together would  simply be too kind. *sighs*
And I've reached the point where I'm too tired to get really frenetic so I'm just- ahheh *leans head with a shrug*. I think it might be the music getting me so unwontedly calm. 
I don't have anything (at all) to write about, so I guess I'll just put something down... now lets see... Aha! Looky- the silent film is born! Again!

Resolutions:
1) Less stress-  dial down on the perfectionist complex
2) Complete--- something. Story, or comic. Just--- finish it.
3) Stop ADD changing my LJ theme/ art style/..../ mood....
4) Be a better person in general(?)XD

Well, anyway. I spent the entire day yesterday being ill. I've realized that illness- like snow- is only very fun if it impairs one's ability to attend school. But, now that I'm better(ish) I'm all energized from doing nothing and have taken to doing anything and everything physically possible.- Oh it is a word! (er sorry, I just realized that babbly really is word in the English language; I'm currently writtin a history essay as I write this entry so its like- "blahblahblah"- "In 1824, Gibbons and"- "Blahblah"- soon to be mixing sentences from all this back and forth-FYI- babblement is also a word)
And now that I've gotten my fill of English enlightenment, lets discuss the true meaning of Christmas:

Spent six hours working on the backdrop for my school's upcoming production of "Beauty and the Beast". I don't understand how it is that I'm not on stage crew, but every year without fail, I end up painting backdrops-- the week before the play! (:/ sigh) The first trimester is finally done! (Woohoo!) And now to switch things up a little,  here's some realness!! 

I've recently re-rediscovered my sims 2 game and now i can't seem to stop playing it. Its weird since I'm not much of a gamer and i usually don't do the 3D stuffs (all though, Final Fantasy(-ies 1 thru 12, I think we're up to) are so beautiful) but I am quite in love with sims 2. Its ridiculous! I'm making my own little world with all these original characters and all custom parts and- oh wow, this is rather lame. He-he so I've officially crossed over into geekland. *___* (* "its a small world" music blaring ominously in background*)
But really, I think its the simple fact that i get to control every aspect of another being's existence (virtual as it may be) that has really got me hocked. I'm a real A-class sucker for omnipotence. Just like Napoleon (Bonaparte!) only I'm a girl and considerably taller.
So, if you like playing god, buy this game. -__-
Buy Sims 2; so you can rule...over them all.

That title was meant to be in no way using God's name in vain because i really was praying just then. This day has been so freaking scary.
I was literally getting off my school carpool when i hear this brief flicker of a report on the radio say a plane crashed into an apartment on 72nd street. No details; just that a plane crashed into a building...
And all I can think of is that my mom's hospital is on 70th.

I am so sad and so scared and so thankful all at once. Even though it really wasn't terrorism or anything, and my mom's okay and all (thank you, dear Lord again), but its so freaky! I mean, how easily could this have been really, really bad? I mean, it was tragic that two people died but- its so crowded on that side- it could have been-
oh, I just need to rest right now-
say a prayer for the repose of the souls who were lost;down a few tylenols and call it a day.
